Trentino is one of the most beautiful regions of northern Italy; it harbors a host of outdoor sporting activities, such as climbing, hiking, mountain biking, caving, power boating, windsurfing and sailing. You can rent one of our bikes or electric quads and explore the Sugana Valley. But there is also plenty of culture, history and great food —every Italian region is unique and even if you have visited Italy before, this Valley will amaze you. From the ancient Romans to medieval lords and the Second World War, events and people have left their mark here.

Full of forests, fertile fields and lakes, the Sugana Valley includes the renowned Lagorai mountain chain (a hiking heaven), the pleasant Vigolana plateau, the Tesino basin and the Valle dei Mocheni. Our B&B is conveniently located in the middle of it all! The two large lakes, a 20-minute drive from our B&B, have won the European Blue Flag thanks to their excellent water quality. At Lake Caldonazzo you can go canoeing, sailing, windsurfing as well as waterskiing. Lake Levico is perfect for relaxing with the family. Valsugana also has hot springs: Levico Terme, Vetriolo, and Roncegno Terme feature several wellness centers.

In December, don’t miss out on the traditional Christmas Markets. Our Valley is also great for Alpine skiing and snowboarding with its ski areas designed for families: Panarotta (50 minutes from our B&B) and Passo Brocòn (30 minutes from our B&B).

Don't forget to visit the medieval castles and the WWII exhibitions, as well as Arte Sella, 20 minutes from our B&B: a forest where nature and art blend together. Stones, logs and leaves come to life. Arte Sella is an international contemporary art event launched in 1986, held in the meadows and forests of  the Sella Valley.
